Situated along Brays Bayou east of downtown, Gus Wortham provides challenging elevated tees and uphill carries that make you use all your clubs. The course is relatively wide open, making it attractive for all levels of golfers. Your skills will be tested on several of the short but challenging par fours.

New! Priority Booking

Our priority booking feature allows all players to access tee times 8-10 days in advance at midnight for a non-refundable booking fee of $20 per player. Reservations may be modified outside of 24 hours from the tee time; however, any reduction in the tee time size will result in forfeiture of the $20 priority booking fee.

Transformative Restoration

Gus Wortham Park Golf Course is an operation of the Houston Golf Association and a public/private partnership between the HGA and the City of Houston. The continual preservation of Gus Wortham has been pivotal to the transformation of Houston’s east-end neighborhood and made possible by raising private funds for extensive and sustainable renovations to the golf course, practice facilities and a new clubhouse.
