The HGA stands proud to hold the charter to the nation's most significant First Tee chapter, the First Tee – Greater Houston, since 2004. As a 501(c)(3) subsidiary of Houston Golf Association, First Tee touches thousands of lives yearly through educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through golf.

Experiences are the most outstanding teacher. The First Tee program offers learning and growth through the game of golf that is both fun and meaningful. Kids feel excited to grow, feel safe to fail and become better equipped for whatever comes their way.
