HGA Junior Golf receives AJGA PBE

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) has given HGA junior golfer the opportunity to earn exemptions into its events through Performance Based Entry (PBE).

The AJGA will recognize the following events with PBE status in 2012:

HGA Junior Match Play Championship (July 9-12): Boys/Girls 15-18 Champion = 4 Performance Stars, Boys/Girls 12-14 Champion = 1 JAS Tournament Exemption

Week 9 PSE - Wildcat Golf Club, Lakes Course (Aug 1-2): Boys/Girls 15-18 Champion = 4 Performance Stars, Boys/Girls 12-14 = 1 JAS Tournament Exemption

HGA Junior Golf Tournament of Champions (Aug 13-14): Boys/Girls 15-18 Champion = 4 Performance Stars, Boys/Girls 12-14 Champion = 1 JAS Tournament Exemption

Greater Houston City Junior Championship (Sept 8-9): Boys/Girls Champion = 4 Peformance Stars

The Players of the Year in both the elder Boys and Girls divisions will also be awarded four (4) performance stars and the Players of the Year in the younger Boys and Girls divisions will each receive an exemption into an AJGA Junior All-Stars event.

The AJGA will also award PBE status to all HGA Performance Series Events that meet their field requirements of 40 boys/12 girls in the elder age divisions and 20 boys/6 girls in the younger age divisions.
