In 2009 the Houston Golf Association Junior Golf Program started the HGA Care for the Course Program. This program was designed for our junior golfers and parents to give back to our local golf courses by filling divots, repairing ball marks, pick up trash, etc. Those juniors who complete one HGA Care for the Course Day will have their name put into the Shell Houston Open *Standard Bearer Drawing on Saturday, March 20th. *Standard Bearers are the sign holders who walk inside the ropes during the Shell Houston Open. The sign they hold indicated the players score in relation to par. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CARE FOR THE COURSE DAYS WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 7:30 A.M. TO 9:30 A.M. EACH JUNIOR GOLFER MUST HAVE A PARENT/GUARDIAN ATTEND AS WELL. HGA Care for the Course Days are free of charge.
