Dates and requirements for the 2013 Shell Houston Open Pro-Junior have been established.

HGA Junior Golf has finalized its exemptions and added a qualifier for the 85th Texas State Junior Championship.

Registration for the 2012 U.S. Junior and U.S. Girls' Junior Amateur Championships is now open. The U.S. Junior will be held at the Golf Club of New England in Stratham, N.H. while the U.S. Girls' Junior will take place at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly, Calif. Both championships will be conducted July 16-21

HGA Junior Golf has five "Special Events" on the calendar for 2012. Each tournament is open to ALL members and has something unique about it.

The Legends Junior Tour comes to Montgomery for their Spring Preview tournament at Woodforest Golf Club March 12-13. All HGA Junior Golf members are dual members with the Legends Junior Tour under the Texas Junior Golf Alliance and are eligible to sign up.

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) has given HGA junior golfer the opportunity to earn exemptions into its events through Performance Based Entry (PBE).

The four organizations operating the state’s most prominent junior golf programs have formed the Texas Junior Golf Alliance, a new partnership that is designed to give junior golfers greater access to top tier competition statewide and ease the burden of travel expense.
